This course is designed for first line faulting andmaintenance staff who have a good working knowledge of railway signalling.

On successful completion of the course delegates will beable to:

• Understand the principles and operation of EBI 200 trackcircuits
• Understand the set-up and test procedure for EBI track circuits
• Complete maintenance and testing on EBI 200 trackcircuits to the current SMS
• Fault find basic right-side faults and understand how torectify them
• Remove, replace and re-test EBI 200 track circuit componentsto the relevant standards
• Complete a maintenance record card correctly and check it torelevant specifications

70% practical sessions including trainer demonstrations,hands-on testing, fault finding and component wiring and cabling replacementsessions

Delegates must have a good understanding of railwaysignalling principles and ideally will have completed a Basic Signalling Onecourse or equivalent.
